Ingredients for the recipe
To roast and grind:
coconut oil – 1 tbsp
cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
coconut grated – 1/2 cup
small onions – 10 nos
garlic cloves – 2 nos
curry leaves – 1 sprig
red chilli powder – 1 tsp
coriander powder – 1.5 tbsp
For curry:
oil – 1 tbsp
small onions – 1/8 cup
garlic – 2 nos
yam/senai kizhangu – 300 gms
turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
water – 1 cup
tamarind water – 2 tbsp
for tempering:
coconut oil – 1 tbsp
mustard seeds – 1 tsp
curry leaves – 1 sprig
