Ridge Gourd chutney Pictorial Directions:

  1. Cook roughly chopped Ridge gourd. It takes 10-15 min to get completely cooked.
  2. Grind Coconut, Gram dal, Red chilli, Ginger and cooked Ridge gourd with salt to a fine paste.
  3. Seasoning is optional. For seasoning, crackle mustard seeds and red chilli and add to the chutney.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ridge gourd roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated coconut
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 2-3 dry red chilli
  • 1 tbsp gram dal
  • salt to taste

seasoning

  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 red broken red chilli

Instructions
