1.chop the pineapple into small pieces. take it in a pan with turmeric powder, salt and little water.

2. close and cook until pineapple is soft.

3. add chopped banana pieces (ripe) and jaggery powder

4. further add chilli powder and mix well. when the jaggery starts melting, it mixes well with bananas and pineapples.

5. now add grapes and little water, close and cook until grapes is soft. approximately for 5 minutes.

6. heat coconut oil in another pan and pop in mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilli and curry leaves. together add grated coconut and fry until it turns golden and roasted.

7. add the tempering to the curry and mix well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 no banana nendran ripe chopped
  • 1/8 cup jaggery powder
  • 1/8 tsp chilli powder
  • 10-15 nos black grapes

tempering

  • 1.5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 no red chilli broken
  • 3/4 cup grated coconut

Instructions

  • cook the chopped pineapple pieces with salt, water and turmeric powder until soft. 
  • open and add the chopped bananas, jaggery powder, chilli powder and mix well until jaggery melts. 
  • add grapes , 1/8 cup water, close and cook until grapes are soft. 
  • meanwhile, heat coconut oil and pop in mustard seeds, cumin seeds and add red chilli, curry leaves. 
  • lastly add grated coconut and fry until golden brown or roasted. 
  • add the tempering to the cooked pineapple grapes mix. 
  • mix well and serve.
