Sometimes the best recipes come from mixing what’s in the fridge. An orange, a frozen banana and a handful of blueberries. I threw them all into the blender with some almond milk and peanuts. What came out was this beautiful, vibrant Orange Berry Blast Smoothie – refreshing and full of flavour!

It’s now my go-to when I want something fruity but filling. The combo of citrus with berries and the creaminess of almond milk makes it super tasty and satisfying. Also, that little mint twist adds a lovely freshness.

Health Benefits
This smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrition. Oranges give you a good dose of vitamin C, blueberries are rich in antioxidants, and chia seeds are known for fibre. Great for digestion, immunity and keeps you full for longer hours.

Let’s Talk About Ingredients

Orange: Full of vitamin C and a natural way to add sweetness. You can use sweet lime (mosambi) instead if you want a milder taste.

Blueberries: Loaded with antioxidants. If you don’t have them, you can use strawberries or black grapes for a similar fruity taste.

Banana: Gives body and creaminess to the smoothie. Use frozen ones for best texture. Can also try chikoo or mango.

Chia Seeds: Adds fibre and helps digestion. Soak for 5 minutes to soften. Can be replaced with flaxseeds.

Peanuts: Adds protein and nutty flavour. You can use almonds or cashews too.

Mint Leaves: Adds coolness and freshness. Optional, but adds a nice twist.

Almond Milk: Light and nutty. You can use regular milk, coconut milk or oat milk too.
