Health benefits of Oats
Oats are a nutritious whole grain that offer many health benefits. They are rich in fiber, particularly beta-glucan, a type of soluble fiber that helps lower cholesterol levels and improve heart health. Oats also contain important vitamins and minerals, such as manganese, phosphorus, and magnesium, which support bone health and energy production.
Additionally, oats have a low glycemic index, meaning they are absorbed slowly in the body and can help regulate blood sugar levels. Eating oats may also aid in weight management, as they are filling and can help reduce overall calorie intake. Overall, incorporating oats into your diet can provide numerous health benefits and contribute to a well-rounded, nutritious diet.

Instructions:
To prepare the delicious Oats Kozhukattai recipe, you will need to follow a few simple steps. Firstly, heat a pan over medium heat and add oats to it. Roast them until they turn slightly brown and release a nutty aroma. Once done, remove the pan from heat and set it aside.
Next, heat another pan and add 2 teaspoons of oil over medium heat. To this, add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon of chana dal, 1 teaspoon of split urad dal, 3 dried red chillies that have been broken, and a sprig of curry leaves. Allow the ingredients to saute for a few seconds until the aroma fills your kitchen.
