Methi and aloo combination is the best and gives an awesome flavour.
Just like the aloo stuffed roti, methi and aloo stuffed roti can be prepared
All you need is,
Methi cleaned and chopped 1 cup
Potatoes boiled and mashed 1 cup
Jeera powder
Chilli powder
Onions chopped. Half cup
Chopped corriander

Anyvegetable of your choice can be added.carrot.tomatoes any vegetable but less than half cup
Ginger and garlic finely chopped half cup
Wheat flour
Salt
Butter
For the stuffing:
Heat the kadai, add butter to it,once it’s hot, add onions and ginger garlic chopped..sauté until onions are cooked. Now add methi, potatoes turmeric powder,jeera powder,salt,chilli powder and mix well. Sauté until methi is cooked..
It cooks faster. So just sauté for few min in simmer.
Let it cool . Combine wheat flour,salt and warm water to it and
Now prepare the dough for roti as usual.
Spread it to a thick round shape and toast it with little oil on both the sides just like you cook chapathi!
Done!
Serve it with tomato chutney.tinge of tamrind taste goes well with stuffed rotis..so tomato chutney is apt combination.
