Lauki sabzi south indian style

Ingredients
- 2 cups bottlegourd chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 3/4 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 large onion chopped
- 3 no garlic chopped
- 1 no green chilli chopped
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1 no tomato chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
Instructions
- In a pressure cooker, take chopped bottle gourd along with turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and water.
- Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. open and mash it slightly.
- Heat oil in another pan, splutter cumin seeds, onion, garlic, green chilli, curry leaves and fry well.
- further, add peas, tomato, water, salt and close cook for 10 minutes.
- open and mix once. add the cooked and mashed bottle gourd
- furthermore, add turmeric powder, chilli powder , water and let it come to a boil.
- later, add coriander powder, garam masala and cook further for 5 minutes.
- Mix once and add coconut milk . just heat it up and put off.
- serve hot with chapathi.
