Kootu recipes | podalanga kadala parupu kootu~ snake gourd and Bengal gram curry
Ingredients :
Snake gourd chopped 2 cups
Bengal gram – 1 cup
Curry leaves
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Garlic pods 3 nos
Sambar powder
Turmeric powder
Tomato – 1 no chopped
Method :
Heat oil, splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Saute garlic, tomatoes and curry leaves
Add chopped vegetable and Bengal gram.
To this add a tsp of sambar powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Cook to 4-5 whistles.
Add chopped coriander leaves before serving.
