Sometimes I just want something easy, light and refreshing in the morning. This Dragon Power Smoothie is that kind of a drink for me. It’s such a simple mix of fruits, nuts and seeds but gives a real power punch! if your lactose intolerant like me, then replace yogurt with lactose free curd.

The best part? It’s creamy and filling with banana and yogurt, and the dragon fruit gives it such a lovely flavour. It takes just five minutes!

Health Benefits
This smoothie is full of fibre, antioxidants, and natural energy boosters. Banana and oats help with digestion, chia and almonds give good fats and protein, and dragon fruit adds vitamin C and antioxidants. Ginger helps build immunity and fights inflammation.

Let’s Talk About Ingredients

  • Dragon Fruit : It gives the smoothie a lovely taste and is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. You can use white or red dragon fruit. If unavailable, use strawberries or watermelon.
  • Yogurt: Adds creaminess and good probiotics for digestion. Use homemade or plain curd. For a vegan version, use coconut or almond yogurt.
  • Chia Seeds: These tiny seeds are great for fibre and omega 3. Soaking them helps with digestion. You can also use flax seeds if you don’t have chia.
  • Almonds: Gives a nutty flavour and boosts protein. Soak to soften them. You can replace with cashews or peanuts if needed.
  • Banana: Frozen banana makes the smoothie thick and naturally sweet. Use well-ripened ones. If you don’t have banana, try mango or apple.
  • Ginger: Adds a small spicy kick and is great for immunity and gut health. Use fresh, not ginger powder.
  • Oats: They make the smoothie more filling and help with digestion. Use rolled oats for best texture. Can skip if you want it lighter.
