Stepwise description of making Vengaya Malli chutney
- Roughly ground shallots. Pestle mortar will do. Keep aside.
- Mix chilli powder and coriander powder with little water in a bowl.
- Now, Heat oil (preferably coconut oil) and splutter mustard seeds.
- Crackle urad dhal.
- To this add red chilli and curry leaves. Saute well.
- Add prepared masala mix , Salt and ground shallots and saute until raw smell goes off.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup small onions
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 2-3 dry red chilly
- 1 spring curry leaves
- salt to taste
Instructions
