Chicken ghee pepper roast
Simple easy and tasty chicken fry with ghee and pepper flavored. Whenever anyone at home has caught cold, we prepare pepper roast. Easy , spicy and helps soothe cold.
Directions:
1. Clean the chicken and Cook it with salt, turmeric and pepper powder. Add very little water. Cook to 4 to 5 whistles.
2. Heat ghee in a kadai, add sliced onions, little bit of pepper powder and saute until it turns brown.
3. Add slit green chilies, curry leaves and saute for a min in medium flame.
4. Now add the cooked chicken and add additional pepper powder if you like it to be spicy.
5. Fry it until it gets roasted. Tada! Chicken ghee pepper roast ready. Easy right ?!
Chicken ghee pepper roast
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg Chicken
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 2-3 tsp pepper powder adjust pepper powder as per your taste
- 1 large Onion sliced
- 3 long green chillies slit vertically
- 2 spring curry leaves
- 2-3 tsp Ghee
- Salt

- Heat ghee in a kadai, add sliced onions, 1/2 tsp pepper powder and saute until it turns brown.
- Add slit green chilies, curry leaves and saute for a min in medium flame.
- Now add the cooked chicken and add additional 1 tsp/remaining pepper powder if you like it to be spicy. Fry it until it gets roasted.
