Cheese pasta is very much favourite for kids and I wanted to post this recipe on November 14th , childrens’ day. My little one love it for the reason that it is loaded with milk and cheese and creaminess. milk and cheese are good source of protein and can be given to kids.
But this pasta recipe cannot be used to pack in lunchbox as it may tend to go rubbery. It has to be taken when warm. I have used mozzarella cheese. You can either use the same or cheddar cheese or the mix of both for better results. If you want a creamy texture, then add more milk. I have made it little dry to suit our taste.

Cheese pasta Indian Style
Ingredients
- 2 cups pasta
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup maida
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1.5 tbsp chilli flakes
- 1.5 tbsp crushed peppercorns
- 1/2 cup half cooked vegetables
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 cup grated cheese
Instructions
- Firstly, Pour water to a pan, put in 2 cups pasta, salt, oil to this and Let it boil for 10 min or until the pastas are done;
- strain the pastas and let it cool
- For preparing sauce, melt butter in a pan and add the flour(maida) little at a time and keep stirring to make it a lump free dough
- pour in milk little at a time and give a brisk stir until its creamy
- Drop in the half boiled vegetables, peppercorns crushed, red chilli flakes, chaat masala, mixed herbs and grated cheese to this
- further add milk to bring to the consistency you require and mix well
- add salt to taste, cooked pasta and Mix thoroughly until sauce is well combined with pastas. serve hot

- Furthermore, add mixed herbs to the sauce.
- add the grated cheese to this
- further add milk to bring to the consistency you require
- mix well
- add salt to taste and mix again
- add the cooked pasta
- Mix thoroughly until sauce is well combined with pastas.
- serve hot
