firstly, finely chop carrots and beans and keep it ready. o have taken 1 cup carrots chopped and 1.5 cups beans chopped. adjust as per your taste.

take it in a pressure cooker and add just enough water till it gets soaked.approximately 3/4th cup water is used. also add turmeric powder, salt. mix well.

pressure cook for 3 whistles. wee need not cook till mushy. cook just until it is soft. open after the pressure settles and keep it ready.

heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilli broken. when it crackles, add chopped onions and fry till pink

once the onions turn pink, add the cooked carrot beans, mix well. grate the coconut and add about 02 tbsp grated coconut and mix well. fry till all the water is evaporated and it gets dry.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup beans chopped
  • 1 cup carrot chopped
  • 1 spring curry leaves
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 no red chilli broken
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 spring curry leaves
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp coconut grated

Instructions

  • pressure cook beans and carrot with salt, turmeric powder and little water to 2-3 whistles.
  • meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilli broken.
  • further add chopped onions and salt for frying., fry till pink.
  • now add the cooked beans and carrots and fry till any water left is completely evaporated and it gets dried.
  • lastly add coconut grated and mix well.
