murukku recipe | Classic murukku recipe – Traditional pottukadalai butter Murukku
Classic Murukku recipe | pottukadalai murukku recipe | butter murukku is one of the favorite homemade snack in most of our homes. It is an art taught by our grandmothers to our mother and comes all the way to us and passes on generations. Each and every house has its traditional way of making murukku and it is followed just the way it is taught.
In our house, we call it C.P murukku ? nothing special with the name but it is just the family name and my grandmothers recipe. So we call it C.P murukku. For every Diwali my mom use to make it.
Not everyone who makes murukku gets the desired taste. It comes thoroughly out of practice. When my mom makes it, she does not even talk to anyone ? she will be all tensed until she tastes first one. ? it will be worth for all her hard work.
We use this Age old murukku pidi, valuable and it is a treasure. I think it is more than 50 years old.
Drishti kept at stove before starting to make murukku. Kind of sentiments and prayer to wish it comes out perfect. 😛
