Instructions

  1. Grind the Oats and Flaxseeds: In a blender, take 1/2 cup rolled oats and 1/8 cup flaxseeds, and grind them coarsely.
  2. Add Dates and Flavorings: Add 8 pitted dates, a small piece of cinnamon, 1/8 tsp vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Grind until the mixture holds together.
  3. Adjust the Texture: If the mixture seems dry, add more dates or a bit of honey/maple syrup to moisten it.
  4. Form the Balls: Transfer the mixture to a plate and scoop out portions. Shape them into 7 smooth balls, adjusting quantities to your preference.
  5. Refrigerate: Place the energy balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
