Baby foodz – Palak rice
Palak Rice for babies suitable for age group 8 months +. As I suggest always to consult with pd before introducing meats/spinach or any food item which you have doubt before introducing it to the lo. My Pd suggested to give my DS spinach in his 7th month itself. But i was little resistant and started him giving spinach after he was 9 months. Now i do follow giving him Spinach once a week.
No worries even if they poop green 🙂 you will have a feel of feeding something healthy and filling to your lo.

- Mix well. Add enough water. (Rice:Water in 1:3/3.5 ratio) depending upon the rice variety you use.
- Cook it for 4 whistles and mash again before serving. Serve warm.
Notes
I don't puree the food after cooking most often as it may lose its nutrients and my pd suggests not to grind rice after cooking, So i opt for mashing it well by hands/ Potato Masher. If you feel the rice has to be pureed, then grind the rice and dal together to coarse powder before cooking.
